Both Beth and I communicated via
iMessage, as well as what we had planned to film in our media lessons. The
slideshow below shows the messages that we sent to each other when we were
planning to film. We decided that our filming would take place on Sunday 18th
January at 1.00pm. This filming would take place at ‘Ruislip Woods’, which was
originally planned for our trailer. Unfortunately at late notice, Shannon who
we originally planned to play Melinda isn't in London on the day of filming due
to other commitments and therefore, we have now planned for Beth to play
Melinda. We did understand that everybody wasn't going to be available on the
same day and at the same time. It was important that we had backups available.
Beth playing Melinda did make more sense as it meant we could get the shots
exactly how we wanted as we both had a clear understanding of the storyline and
where we wanted to go with the filming. I wasn’t able to play Melinda as we already
had too many shots that we had previously filmed in school and it means that
there would be too much of the storyline to change.
Beth received an email two days before filming that said the make-up we had ordered for Melinda had been delayed and therefore it wouldn't be here for Sunday. However, Beth cancelled the order and we bought the make-up (fake blood) from a fancy dress shop, this meant that we still had everything we needed in time for filming. Furthermore, we were able to communication on the day of filming to ensure that we had everything we needed. As Beth had the camera, I could text her and remind her not to forget the camera and the costume. It was important that we communicated with each other when we were planning our filming to ensure that we were as organised as possible and we could film shots that were as conventional as possible.

Beth and I signed out
camera 2, a tripod and microphone to film our trailer over the weekend.
